Welcome to the Christ Covenant Church of Chicago website!
Christ Covenant Church of Chicago was born out of a strong desire to see a new local church raised in the Chicago Area that is faithful to the covenant of our Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and worship with us.
We are committed to:
- Glorifying God through reverent worship
- Honoring Christ Jesus, our Savior, in all of our worship, fellowship and life
- The teaching and preaching of the whole counsel of God
- Corporate and public worship that is in accordance with God’s nature and with the way Scripture directs us to approach Him
- The fellowship of believers and edification of the Church
- Join with the Church Universal around the world to carry out evangelism in accordance with Christ’s Great Commission to the Church (Matt. 28).
- Nurturing Christian love and life that is grounded in the Christian faith
The foundational form of our worship is distinctly Trinitarian. In worship, we offer ourselves to the Father, in the Name of the Son, in the power of the Spirit. Our worship follows the Scriptural pattern, which includes singing of psalms and hymns, prayer, confession, reading and preaching of Scripture, and administration of the Lord’s Supper.
Christ Covenant Church of Chicago is a non-sectarian church, affiliated with the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC).
